    Description

Small NATIVE AMERICAN Tuscarora IROQUOIS Beaded NEEDLE CASE
Offered for sale is this small Beaded Needle Case. Possibly Tuscarora. Like most Tuscarora whimsies, they are likely attributable to the Tuscarora Nation, because of the style, techniques, and beads used. Translucent and green beads on a red linen cloth backing. Tuscarora women made and sold these "souvenir" pieces during the 1800s and 1900s to tourists who visited Niagara Falls, NY
. Backed with linen or velvet cloth type material. This small Whimsey measures 3 1/2" across. Normal age wear to the green cloth border and some bead loss on the left side, White linen material on the interior. Overall condition good.
Nice addition to any Native American Bead collection.
